Short stories for Spanish learners
El volumen 1 de la serie Reading for Spanish learners contiene cinco breves cuentos. El propósito es exponer a los estudiantes a auténticos materiales de lectura que les permita mejorar su vocabulario y gramáticsa. En la introducción, los estudiantes encontrarán una serie de estrategias para leer en una lengua extranjera. Antes de cada cuento hay un breve comentario. Enseguida asparece un vocabulario en inglés y español. Al final hay unas preguntas de post lectura y de reflexión.
Volume 1 of the Reading for Spanish Learners series features five short stories. The aim of the book is to expose students to authentic reading materials that help them enhance their vocabulary and grammar. In the introduction, students will find a set of strategies for reading in a foreign language. Each story is preceded by a brief commentary, followed by vocabulary in both English and Spanish. At the end, students will be able to answer comprehension questions.
