Sincretismo Cultural en Migrantes Nahuas de Acapulco, Guerrero es un estudio antropológico que el autor realizó a medados de los noventa del siglo pasado. El libro analiza el proceso de integración de los nahuas del Alto Balsas del estado de Guerrero a la ciudad y puerto de Acapulco. La primera parte del libro delimita las áreas geográficas culturales del estudio y analiza las causas de las migraciones de los pobladores de las comunidades indígenas de San Juan Tetelcingo y Maxela. La segunda parte es un breve estudio diacrónico de la región del Alto Balsas el cual comprende la época prehispánica hasta la década de los cincuenta del siglo pasado. La tercera parte es un estudio etnográfico de San Juan Tetelcingo y Maxela y un recuento sobre las organizaciones políticas en la región y su relación con los movimientos indígenas nacionales. La última parte compara los estilos de vida de los migrantes de San Juan Tetelcingo y Maxela, así como los niveles de integración que tenían a mediados de los noventa.

The book Sincretismo Cultural en Migrantes Nahuas de Acapulco, Guerrero is an anthropological study that the author conducted in the mid-nineties of the last century. The book analyzes the process of integration of the Nahuas from Alto Balsas in the state of Guerrero to the city of Acapulco, Mexico. The first part of the book delimits the cultural geographic areas of the study and analyzes the causes of the migrations of the inhabitants of the indigenous communities of San Juan Tetelcingo and Maxela. The second part is a brief diachronic study of the Alto Balsas region which covers the pre-Hispanic period until the fifties of the last century.
